Jean Prouvé and Jules Leleu decorator. Side table with red tubular frame with double trays, cylindrical base with rounded angles. Marten Military Sanatorium of Joinville, circa 1930. Restoration. A set of this furniture is kept in the 1930s museum in Boulogne Billancourt.

About the designer
Jean PROUVE
1901 - 1984Jean Prouvé (1901-1984) was a French designer and builder. Born in Nancy, he began working in his father's iron workshop before studying art and design at the École de Nancy. In the 1920s, he began designing metal furniture and founded his own company, Ateliers Jean Prouvé, in 1923.
