LE TEMOIN (The Witness), seat sculpture by Man Ray for Simon, 1971. "An eye that is constantly watching you in your house, if you turn it upside down, it instantly turns into a small sofa or table. Designed by Man Ray for the Ultramobile exhibition designed by Studio Simon (Dino Gavina), Italy in 1971. His goal was to adapt the surrealist object in a surprising way to everyday use, bringing a poetic presence into our homes. Material: Wood covered with white artificial leather and silk-screened methacrylate decoration. Dimensions: h x w x d 70 x 151 x 43 cm. A unique piece for the collector. Source: Dino Gavina book.
