About this vintage design furniture
Designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand in 1928 and made famous since 1965 by Cassina. This chair is early model. LC4 is a chaise lounge with variable inclination with cradle in polished chromed steel and pedestal in black painted steel. Mattress of leather with fur and headrest in black leather. The form of relaxation, born from the desire of the three designers to put man at the center of attention, thanks to the correspondence between form and function of rest, in perfect balance between geometric purity and corporeality. The stability of the cradle - for any tilt angle - is ensured by friction with rubber tubes that line the pedestal crosspieces. The pillow has been newly upholstered. Chair is originally marked LC4- 4108.
