About this vintage design furniture
Wassily armchair in cream leather, designed by Marcel Breuer and manufactured by Gavina, Italy in the 1960s, original year of design 1925. Gavina produced the Wassily chair under licence between 1962 and 1968, then Knoll purchased the Gavina company and took over production. Polished chrome metal tube frame and original arms, back rest and seat. In good vintage condition. The chrome is in good condition with minimal marks to it. The leather is also good, there is some loss to the stitching on the front of the arms, this is purely decorative and does not affect the chair and there are minimal marks and patination to the leather. Pair of identical chairs are available, price is per chair.
