About this vintage design furniture

Vintage teak wall-mounted desk shelf with hidden drawer, Scandinavian style, by G-PLAN, 60's. We like its pretty wood grain and its hidden drawer covered with purple felt. To hang on your wall to create an office or secretary corner. Also an ideal room for aesthetics and for storage, which will enhance your books, objects and decoration. Very good condition, only a few marks normal for his age.

Dimensions: W 83.5 x D48 x H24 cm. G-Plan was one of the most recognised names in furniture production in the UK until the late 1970s. In the 1960s, G-Plan set the standard for modernist consumer furniture in the post-war UK. In order to compete with imported Scandinavian furniture, G-Plan hires designer Ib Kofod-Larsen. Following the success of Kofod-Larsen, Wilkins' Fresco range is influenced by Scandinavian design. Designed in 1966 and launched the following year, the range - G-Plan's most successful range - includes a suite of furniture for all rooms, all finished in richly grained and elegant teak. The design itself combines the elegant and sculptural aesthetics of Italian furniture with the unique Scandinavian style that was so popular at the time.
