Stunning Dunvegan sideboard by McIntosh of Kirkaldy, Scotland - Mid Century Modern - Heals A beautifully designed & crafted teak ’Dunvegan’ sideboard designed by Tom Robertson & manufactured by A.H. McIntosh of Kirkaldy, Scotland. Circa 1960s. A stunning sideboard by McIntosh, featuring beautiful carved ’fin’ handles which gives this piece a distinct Scandinavian appearance. One large shelved cupboard in the centre, a drop down drinks cabinet with slide out serving tray to the right and three good sized drawers to the left. The legs have the original adjustable feet in place. The teak has a stunning golden patina that only age can achieve. This piece has been fully stripped of all its old tired finish, cleaned and finally given three coats of a quality wax oil bringing it back to it lovely original condition. It is free from damaged veneers and has no filler. A great addition to any mid century - modern home or office.
