About this vintage design furniture
Wall light. Opaque glass with gradient finish, chrome suspension ring. Very good vintage condition. This attractive wall jewel, designed for Raak, is part of Frank Ligtelijn’s successful and diverse Globe series. Its beauty lies in the metal ring gently carrying the glass sphere while ensuring its freedom of movement. The glass, made by German factory Peill & Putzler, is not smoked but cloudy. The milky white haze becomes gradually less dense towards the top and provides a sophisticated mood light. dimensions: height: 25 cm width: 25 cm depth: 33 cm We have 1 lamp available.

About the designer
Frank LIGTELIJN
Frank Ligtelijn (1943-2017) was a Dutch industrial designer known for his work in office equipment and consumer electronics. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague before working for Philips Design from 1967.
