About this vintage design furniture
Vintage clip spot late 70's early 80's edited by Habitat. On 11 May 1964, Terence Conran, a young furniture designer and restorer, opened the first Habitat Fulham Road store in London. His ambition was to modernise British furniture by offering contemporary design at affordable prices. The brand then turned towards the general public and grew rapidly, anticipating the public's tastes. In 1973, the company opened its first French store in Paris, in the Montparnasse district.
