Unique set of mahogany arm chairs from 1953. Design by the Dutch architect and designer W. Kuyper and made by Bureau Kuyper from Amsterdam. These chairs are only made once and specially designed for the previous owner of these beautiful chairs. We even have the design drawing in our possession and it is supplied with the chairs Mr. W. Kuypers is also the author of the book: The art of living. Released in 1950. This interesting book contains various designs by him and other designers from those years. Beautiful set of sturdy, durable and unique Dutch design chairs with the corresponding design drawing. Armrest height 70 cm Seat height 51 cm Very good vintage condition – No defects, but it may show slight traces of use. Reupholstered, Some wear on the black trim of the lower back upholstery on some of the chairs.
