About this vintage design furniture
Vintage, mid-century, metal coat rack with a top shelf, four hooks and a brass-colored finish from France, circa 1960’s. This unique piece, is both practical for hanging coat, hats or umbrellas, while presenting a very groovy, modern design that also serves as cool wall decor. The top shelf is an added bonus whether one wishes to use it for shoes, scarves, folded towels, or even as a shelf for plants. The hooks are oval-shaped with smooth edges making it easy to hang towels in a bathroom, aprons in the kitchen and are sturdy enough to hang jackets, coats, etc. The sleek, "S-shaped", streamlined design gives a nice pop of glam. There are four, circular wall mounts, making it simple to hang on a wall of your choice (screwsnails not included.) In overall fantastic, original vintage condition, with light signs of age and use commensurate with time and a patina of time on the body and hooks (see photos), but no dents. It has only been gently cleaned with respect to the original patina. A perfect piece that looks like it is floating effortlessly when mounted, that will compliment any given environment, be it MCM, contemporary, traditional, et al. Use in an entry hallway, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen or other.
