About this vintage design furniture
Completely renovated Danish armchair. Design by Alfred Christensen in the 50s. Manufactured by Slagelse Møbelværk in about 1960. Legs and armrests of stained beech wood. Neck pillow and cushion. Quality bottle of green furniture wool fabric. Buttons of green art leather. New upholstery. Original springs in the seat are retained. Renovated by professional upholsterer, craftsman.

About the designer
Alfred CHRISTENSEN
Alfred Christensen (1903-1980) was an American industrial designer best known for his work for the Knoll furniture company in the 1940s and 1950s. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
