About this vintage design furniture
Mid-century French walnut chest of drawers By John Herbert, 1960s A younger chest of drawers, with six dovetailed drawers and brass handles, the set is in French walnut. A Younger was a leading manufacturer of contemporary furniture in the late 1950s and through the late 1960s. Its principal designer was the talented John Herbert, about whom little is known beyond Younger's designs. A Younger's chests of drawers are often much larger than those of other British or even Danish manufacturers.
