Rare Lyfa wall lamp Pandean by Bent Karlby for Lyfa, 1970s. The condition of this beautifully designed wall lamp – called “Pandean” (pandean pipes, pan flute) – is still very good with minimal traces of use. The wiring has been checked by an electrician. The lamp has a porcelain screw bulb holder. Dimensions: H x W x D 36 x 9.5 x 11 cm. Material: Aluminium. Colour: silver and orange. Source: Lyfa catalogue, 1970s Bent Karlby can be considered as one of the masters of 20th century Danish Design. Karlby was trained as an architect and mainly designed furniture, lamps and wallpaper. His oil paintings are also very rare and sought after.
