About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful glass vase in typical turquoise pressed glass. Designed by František Pečený for Hermanova hut glass factory in 1963. Number of pattern 20040. Frantisek Pečený was one of the most significant glass designers in 1960s in Czechoslovakia. He was often called a "master of patter". As he often produced the most intricate and detailed patterns, mostly inspired by nature in pattern and color. He works with the optical quality of glass and uses some lens systems to create his unique patterns. This vase is one of his well known creations. It was only produced in this light turquoise color. It is in excellent condition with only one tiny little chip on the bottom rim, hardly visible even on details. Otherwise excellent, like new condition.
