About this vintage design furniture
Bottiglie is a stunning set of 2 bottles realised in Italy by the company Avorin in the early 80s. The style brings us in the Memphis design age. This set because of its shape and colours could easily be connected with the popular Sottsass designer but unfortunately there is no proof of authenticity. The neat bottles are finely realised with an elegant avory colour ceramic. Each of them comes with the label " Avorin-Prodotto Artistico" as a proof of authentic Italian artistic product. The geometrical caps are finely realised by Murano Artisans and show beautiful iridescent glass details. Please notice that the smaller cap has a small chip on the inner transparent glass end (see pic n 7) which is not compromising at all the beauty and the functionality of the object. The shape of the caps reminds us of perfume bottles but I love seeing this set as a oil and vinegar cruet on a sophisticated table, ready to delight your guests. Their avant-guard lines permits us to enjoy the bottles as ceramic and Murano sculptures too. A exquisite example of Italian craftsmanship for your unique environment Bottles Measurements Bottle n 1 Height: 24.5 cm 9.7 inch Base Diameter: 10.5 cm 4.2 inch Bottle n 2 Height: 18 cm 7.1 inch Base Diameter: 8 cm 3.2 inch
