About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful vintage writing cabinet from the Fifties. It is veneered with ash (probably) real wood veneer. The top of the cabinet has sliding panels and a shelf. A flap can be opened in the middle (height: 80.5 cm, width: 96 cm, depth: 54.5 cm), which can be used as a writing "table". Inside are compartments for sorting. At the bottom there are two doors and a shelf. The shelf is placed so that folders can be stored in the lower compartment. The cupboard was part of an extension programme. The legs are mounted at a slight angle. Design: Anonymous Manufacturer Origin: WM Werner Meierricks Möbelwerke, Germany Age: 1950 - 1959 Condition: Good used condition, commensurate with age. The wood of the legs has scratches (photo). There are light stains and scratches on the top of the cabinet (photos). The carcase has light scratches, small marks and stains on the front (photos). The glass of one pane has a small break at one corner. The keys are present. The writing tablet has scratches and stains on the inside.
