About this vintage design furniture
Very beautiful pair of mid century sconces. The shell-shaped shades are made of thick ice glass and are fixed on a base made of chromed metal. The lamps were manufactured by Fischer-Leuchten in the 1970s. Each lamp holds 1 E14 bulb. On-off-switch directly at the lamp. The lamps are in very good condition without damages. Width 6 13" (16 cm), height 10 15" (26 cm), depth 4 14" (11 cm). Weight 800 gms each. The price is for the pair.

Curt Fischer (1890-1956) was a German industrial designer known for his work in the 1920s and 1930s. He studied at the Dresden School of Arts and Crafts and worked for various design companies, including the famous Meissen porcelain company.
