Danish Dyrlund Bar 1960’s Teak freestanding dry bar by Erik Buch Offered for sale a Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern teak bar cabinet by Erik Buch for Dyrlund, from Denmark, 1960s, curved form with chrome footrest and blacktop. Sliding doors with chrome pulls seven curved steel and plastic bottle holders and two drawers with matching pull handles. Erik Buch is a Danish industrial designer who was born in Copenhagen in 1923. Buch’s organic and practical aesthetic resulted in furniture that included benches, stools, bars, and cabinets, all built in the Scandinavian modern style. Buch is a collectable designer who offers practicality, originality and contemporary elements to his furniture so that the item never looks dated or out of place in any home.
