About this vintage design furniture
Iconic cabinet in impressive solid teak wood by P. Hvidt & O. Mølgaard-Nielsen for Søborg Møbelfabrik. The item features box joinery connecting top and sides, one adjustable shelf rack and three shallow storage drawers. Very unique and very nice craftsmanship. The item has been carefully restored and it is in good condition.

Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
