About this vintage design furniture
Original String shelf designed by Nils Strinning in 1949. The system consists of five metal ladders in black with seven shelves, one container with a lockable flap door. The surfaces are veneered in teak. This original String shelf is much better processed and of a better quality than many wall shelves that hit the market in the 50s and 60s. Quality features – high quality veneer – 2 cm thick shelves made of blockboard, which prevent sagging – stable shelf holders that compensate for slight unevenness – more stable ladders Good restored condition with slight signs of usage.
