About this vintage design furniture
This Kuben floor lamp was designed by Björn Svensson for the Swedish manufacturer Elidus in the 1970s. The cube-shaped lamp is made of metal in the iconic red-orange color. It has a flexible element at the shade that allows you to easily change the direction of the light's angle of incidence. The light switch is located on the base.This project is the subject of debate among design critics. It is often mistakenly attributed to Hans-Agne Jakobsson. However, all indications are that the designer of the lamp is Björn Svensson and that he created it for the company Elidus, which he owned.This lamp is in original vintage condition. It has small scratches. The lamp requires an E27 bulb.
