Pair of vintage brass and glass pendant lamps, Italy 1950

An elegant and classic pair of mid-century Italian one-light lanterns, truly representative of the 1950s style. The structures and chains are in brass with a burnished finish and some gold inserts. The cylindrical glass shades have an acidic surface with a special effect of spots and, when lit, the light is very soft and pleasant. Good condition, all parts are original and undamaged, no defects. There are traces of oxidation, consistent with age, on the frames and brass chains. See pictures. The electrical wires have been completely replaced, the E27 sockets are original. Weight: 1,650 kg each.
