About this vintage design furniture
This Set of Six Austrian Midcentury Beech stacking Armcairs was designed by Roland Rainer in the early 1950s and was used in the Vienna City Hall so this Model is very well known as Wiener Stadthallenstuhl and Austrian Post War Design Icon. They were produced in Vienna by Emil und Alfred Pollak. They are in very good slightly restored condition, very comfortable and ready to use

About the designer
Roland RAINER
Roland Rainer was an Austrian architect and designer who was born in 1910 and died in 2004. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and began his career working for the Austrian architect Clemens Holzmeister.
