About this vintage design furniture
This Move armchair, in the color combination black leather black wood, is in good condition. The leather is soft and supple and shows a circular depression in the leather on the right side of the seat. There was a marking there which got lost. The black wooden frame and the wooden base show slight signs of wear. The ottoman is in very good condition. The Move armchair was the draft of the Designer Takshi Okamura & Erik Marquardsen. Designed in the 70’s for that Swedish manufacturer Nelo, draws it is characterized by the extraordinary design, paired with high seating comfort and excellent materials.

Takashi OKAMURA and Erik MARQUARDSEN
Okamura & Marquardsen is a Tokyo-based design company founded in 1945 by Japanese designer Tadashi Okamura and Danish designer Erik Marquardsen. The two men initially began working together in the 1930s at Kusch+Co, a German furniture manufacturing company.
