About this vintage design furniture
A nice rocking chair designed by M. Nissen, manufactured by Pastoe in the Netherlands around 1950. This lovely mid-century piece has an oak wooden base in a nice brown colour. The armrests are slightly bent in the same curve as the runners (rocking base), creating an appealing harmony in the design The seat and back have checkered fabric upholstery in red and green tones, which matches the design and structure of the wood really well The piece will be a great addition to any decor and has a very comfortable seat. It remains in fair, vintage condition with some user marks and restorations, still well usable and preserving a beautiful patina
