About this vintage design furniture

Set of yellow Danish glass salt and pepper shakers, designed by Michael Bang and produced by Holmegaard in the 1970s.The hand-blown, mushroom-shaped set of 3-layer opal glass in 1970s colors is in very good condition.Michael Bang (1942-2013) was the son of Jacob E. Bang, Holmegaard's first designer. In the 1960s to 1980s, Michael Bang was a designer at the Odense Glass Factory in Holmegaard, but moved with his family to Holmegaard in the 1980s. Michael Bang was quick-witted, fascinating and entertaining, and able to mesmerize an audience when the glass factory held lectures and presentations.
