About this vintage design furniture
Scandinavian style vintage armchair (side chair) from the 60s. The frame of the chair is made of beech wood, which highlights compass style legs and beautiful elongated armrests. The fabric of the seat cushion and backrest are all original, with no snags or punctures and have been cleaned. The color of the fabric. Let's talk about it. This particular shade of green woven chenille fabric is one of the reasons this piece was acquired, (as well as the design of the arms and overall structure.) On the back, the backrest is covered in red skai, which still bears its beautiful patina of age. The chair is in good original vintage condition with of course traces and marks of previous use, as well as a patina of time on the frame (see photos), the armrests (see photos), the legs and small old marks on the bottom left rear of the seat (see photos.) The frame has been cleaned to keep it as close to its original condition as possible. This fantastic conversation piece, seems to have been made by a craftsman (hand made). All these small imperfections, make it more original and tell its history and authenticity. Seat height 40 cm. The cushions are not removable because they are sewn.
