Vintage solid oakwood console

An authentic, beautifully aged multi purpose piece of antique furniture made from solid oak joined with dowel joinery. The oak is in very good condition and has a wonderful, warm patina. This handcrafted antique console table has a solid construction with curved legs on either side that jut outwards. Arched apron runs along the top. One side has a horizontal stretcher at the base connecting the legs. The other side was left open so that whomever sat facing the console could rest their feet on the cross bar. But this piece of furniture can easily be repurposed in a home or hotel as a console table with matching table lamps and books, magazines or as an accent hallway entryway table with a large mirror above it and room for shoes (hook your heals behind the stretcher for instance), a key bowl, .... ..
