The ladder shelf wall unit by Nisse Strinning for String Design AB, 1950s Stylish and at the same time playful vintage Swedish design String wall system ’The Ladder Shelf’ in light ash wood with shelves and cabinets, 2 of which have a nice and handy section with drawers. The Swedish designer couple Nisse and Kasja Strinning designed this modular wall system in 1949 for a design competition for a public library. A few years later, the design was put into production by String Design AB. It’s a nice airy design. Consists of: 8 shelves of 39 cm wide. 3 cabinets 39 cm wide. 1 large plank 78 wide Various white brackets. Can be assembled and combined according to your own idea.
