About this vintage design furniture
An exclusive mid-century modern large desk was designed by Svend Madsen and manufactured by HP Hansen in Denmark in the 1960s. This elegant desk features a bowed large top with beautiful teak wood grain and a raised lip edge. The desk provides four drawers on each side with solid teak recessed pull handles, while the back features a large shelf for books and a locked cabinet. The front drawers and a back cabinet have a working lock. One key is included, which fits all the locks. The desk rests on four solid wood legs that carry the top plate giving the piece a floating aspect. The desk is in good vintage condition with a couple of veneer inlays on the top. They are professionally made and not much visible. Entirety renewed with Danish Oil.
