Vintage steel desk by Andre Cordemeyer for Gispen, 1960s

Rare steel Gispen desk designed by Andre Cordemeyer in 1962. This is the large model 3807 with two drawers was designed in 1962. The smaller version (model 3803) with one drawer was designed in 1959. The floating suspension and the ribbed back panel give the desk a transparent appearance. As a result, the desk can also stand freely in the room. The condition of this Gispen desk is still good with normal traces of use; some paint damage on the inside drawers due to the office chair (see photos). Dimensions: h x w x d 75 x 150 x 65 cm.
