About this vintage design furniture
The sideboard was made in the 1970s, designed by the well-known designer Erik Jensen for the Danish manufactory Westergaards Møbelfabrik. The structure is covered with teak veneer. Legs made of metal stained black. Surface refreshed. The interior space has been filled with five practical shelves with height adjustment. The sideboard has a convenient sliding door solution, which reduces the need to leave a large free space in front of the furniture, while not restricting access to its interior. In addition, the sliding door is the ideal solution to use the furniture for audio equipment. Condition: The surface of the furniture after refreshing. Minor scratches and marks are visible. Larger signs of use are always presented in the photos. The product is ready to use. For safety reasons, the furniture may have shelves pulled out for transportation. About the designer
Niels Erik GLASDAM JENSEN
Niels Erik Jensen (1918-2006) was a Danish industrial designer best known for his work with the renowned design company Georg Jensen. Jensen studied sculpture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before joining Georg Jensen in 1945. He worked for the company for over 50 years, creating numerous designs for products ranging from cutlery and tableware to jewelry and watches.
