Black Lounge Armchair and Footstool by Ake Fribytter for Nelo, Sweden This Swedish armchair was designed by Ake Fribyter for Nelo in the 1970s, it consists of a cantilevered black lacquered bentwood structure and a seat covered with original black leather. The chair is very comfortable including the footstool. The chair is marked with an original metal plate, see last photo.

About the designer
Ake FRIBYTER
Åke Fribyter was a Swedish designer born on December 8, 1917 and died on December 3, 1999. He studied at the Stockholm School of Industrial Arts and began his career working for the Swedish furniture company NK, where he designed modern, functional furniture.
