About this vintage design furniture
Impressive Danish mid-century teak wall unit with a small desk designed by Preben Sorensen in the 1960s. This entirely modular shelving system is ideal for a home office, living room or anywhere where exposed storage is needed. The set consists of: – 8 shelves each 20 cm deep – cabinet with sliding doors H: 50 W: 80 D: 45 cm - cabinet with glass doors H: 35 W: 80 D: 35 cm - display magazine shelf 33 cm deep (max. book height: 32cm) – desk shelf 45 cm deep – 4 teak rails 200cm long - brass hardware Each section is 80 cm wide and one can arrange all the parts upon ones will. Very minor signs of use, great overall vintage condition, renewed with additional layers of oil. About the designer
Henning SORENSEN
Henning Sorensen was a Danish designer known for his elegant, modern furniture. Born in 1926, Sorensen began his career as an apprentice in a Copenhagen carpentry workshop. He went on to work for leading Danish furniture manufacturers such as Fritz Hansen and Fredericia Furniture.
