About this vintage design furniture

This rare pendant lamp was designed by John Reed for Rotaflex, in the 1950’s1960’s. A very beautiful design because of the simplicity. The shade is made out of Cellulose Acetate (plastics) with a black wooden top. The use of material spreads and diffuses the light very nicely and because of its material, it was often thought that these lamps were made of glass until they were held. A plain design that will suit many styles of interior. This lamp is in a very good condition with minor signs of age and use.
