About this vintage design furniture
Ake FRIBYTER for NELO MÖBLER- Sweden, Roche-Bobois distributor in France Pair of "Kroken" armchairs The black lacquered wooden frame is formed of two elements, one being the base, the other the armrests and the backrest. A black brown fabric cradle resting on this flexible structure accommodates comfortable cushions in chocolate leather. This leather has a beautiful patina, even if it bears obvious traces of use, being original. The foam of these armchairs has been changed by a saddler and the leather nourished. The model created in 1974. The edition of our armchairs from the 1970s. Small plate of the manufacturer Nelo on the base. Small restorations to the back of one of them, slight discolorations to the wood and fabric. Dimensions and weight Height : 87 cm- Width : 76 cm- Depth : 85 cm Weight: 10 kg each

About the designer
Ake FRIBYTER
Åke Fribyter was a Swedish designer born on December 8, 1917 and died on December 3, 1999. He studied at the Stockholm School of Industrial Arts and began his career working for the Swedish furniture company NK, where he designed modern, functional furniture.
