Great rosewood secretary with amazing wood grain by Dyrlund, Danish design, 1970s. When opening this drawer, the front compartment lid mechanically lifts. In addition, the secretary has several smaller storage compartments and drawers, lots of storage space. Comes with the original key and is in very good vintage condition. High quality furniture. About the designer
Svend DYRLUND
Svend Dyrlund (1926-2007) was a Danish designer known for his high-quality wooden furniture. He studied at the Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts and worked for several Danish furniture manufacturers before founding his own company, Dyrlund, in 1960.
