"Brutalist" pendant lamp type 6407 in oxidized brass by Svend Aage Holm Sørensen . The irregular cutouts in the shade along with the acid treated brass leaves simulate burning fire in a stunning way. This is a very unique and rare pendant light, perfect for a dining room table. A true centerpiece of the room. It hangs on the original brass chain and has the original cup with the designer and manufacturer sticker inside. Good condition with minimal signs of use. Minor scratches, no dents. Everything is original, but rewired with 2 m (6′ 6.7″)of black plastic cord - for safety and beauty. About the designer
Svend Aage HOLM SORENSEN
Holm Sorensen was a Danish designer known for his minimalist, functional creations. Born in 1938 in Frederiksberg, Denmark, he studied sculpture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen before turning to industrial design.
