About this vintage design furniture
Gerrit Rietveld’s L25 lamp only existed as a few examples (such as those now in museum collections). The lamp was never put into serial production during Rietveld’s lifetime despite having been offered at one point to Gispen. There was a limited production however in the mid-80s by Bas van Pelt, and Tecta has manufactured a version of the lamp more recently. This particular lamp was made by a Dutch craftsman twenty years ago, closely following Rietveld’s drawings for the lamp with some minor adaptations. Excellent condition.
