Vintage black leather sofa by Thonet, Czechoslovakia 1930s
About this vintage design furniture
The sofa has been completely restored by our professional refurbishing team in Czechia with new, high quality leather, fully polished chrome and revived beechwood. It was made in the 1930s in Czechia by renowned furniture maker Thonet. The sofa fits three people and is back save for the beech, present on the bottom frame and armrests; and chrome, present on the frame as well. The backrests can be removed to turn it into an effective day bed, perfect for guests. It also includes the two geometric cushions seen on the picture. This sofa features classic elements of Bauhaus Design, with a slender tubular chrome plated steel frame and simplistic design focused on function.
