About this vintage design furniture
Brown leather 1970s swivel armchair designed by Madsen & Schübel and produced by Bovenkamp, Denmark. The padded loose brown leather patchwork cushions are set in a shell of sanded leathersuede. The swivel armchair stands on a beautifully detailed star base that is finished with teak. The backrest is adjustable in three positions. Very comfortable. The lounge armchair has similarities with the Artifort shell armchair by Geoffrey Harcourt, but is somewhat rarer. Very good vintage condition. Leather is neat and supple. The suede has a beautiful patina. Constructively all right. Damage to one of the plastic floor glides.
