About this vintage design furniture
A unique lamp based on two connected quadrants of a circle. The distinctive enameled metal arc-shaped screen creates a diffused, matching light, perfectly above the dining table or kitchen table. Thanks to its unique, timeless design and range of colors and sizes, the Semi hanging lamp is extremely versatile and suitable for both private and public spaces. Semi was designed in 1968 as the product of a creative partnership between Claire Bonderup and Torsten Thorup. Bonderup and Thorup wanted to produce a lamp with sharp, clean lines and a geometric shape. Their design was submitted to the competition at the School of Architecture and won the first prize. Lamps are in good condition, signs of use in the form of slight discoloration and micro chips. These are original examples from the 1980s, produced in those years by Fog og Morup. The lamps were cleaned and a new, approx. A 2-meter-long braided cable was attached to them. Dimensions: diameter: 38cm height: 19cm
