Set of 4 vintage Milano chairs by Aldo Rossi for Molteni, 1987s
About this vintage design furniture
Four Milano model chairs designed in 1987 by Aldo Rossi for the Molteni company. Exhibited in the permanent collection of the Molteni museum, it is currently a fairly rare chair to find as it is out of production. A chair of small dimensions and so light that it can be lifted with a finger, but of great strength. The design is based on an old, traditional type of chair, in which the seat and backrest are made of parallel slats, embedded in sheaths in the fixed parts; this guarantees elasticity and eliminates creaking. The chairs are stable and in good condition. There are imperceptible signs of use.
