About this vintage design furniture
The stunning pair of mid-century folding chairs in black metal and faux leather. This fantastic set was designed by Giorgio Cattelan and manufactured by Cidue in Italy in the 1970s. These chairs are a perfect example of mid-century design, very elegant in their simple lines and functional with their solid construction. This set is perfect for the living room, studio or dining room. Born in Thiene, Italy, Giorgio Cattelan is the founder of the prestigious and world-renowned furniture company Cattelan Italia Spa. The son of a carpenter, Giorgio and five of his seven brothers were destined to work in the furniture industry, and all of them have a great talent for creating unique products. Giorgio Cattelan is known for his huge dining tables that use geometry to make objects into practical sculptures.
