About this vintage design furniture
Large mid-century modern Scandinavian glass vase designed by Per Lütken for Holmegaard (Denmark, 1950s). Controlled air bubbles inside the glass (inspired by the "bullicante" technique developed by Murano). This vase is called the "Duckling Vase" as it looks like the beak of a duck. Colours: green and clear. Dimensions: height: 28 cm; width: 9 cm; depth: 8 cm. Very good vintage condition. Small manufacturing imperfection.

About the designer
Per LÜTKEN
Per Lütken was a Danish glass designer born on March 17, 1916 in Copenhagen and died on July 19, 1998 in Holte, Denmark. He is best known for his work as senior designer at Holmegaard, a Danish glass company, from 1942 until his death.
