Vintage Mid Century Modern coffee table with iconic wheat sheaf motif by McGuire.The nature-inspired base is handcrafted from Palasan rattan bamboo and has a natural rattan finish.The rattan stalks are connected in the middle by a heavy rattan braid and the top surface is composed of a series of sheared rattans in various circular and oval sizes, resulting in a very textured and interesting surface.This coffee table is both a work of art and a functional piece of furniture.Circa 1970 USA.
