Torcia mid-century wicker table lamp, Italy 1950s
About this vintage design furniture
Torcia is a graceful lamp realised in Italy in the late 50s. This unique lamp shows refined bended rattan details that were finely realised by using an antique Italian traditional method called "piegatura a caldo", which consists of the usage of steam which allows the organic material to be delicately bended by skilful artisans. The lamp shade is made of a red plastic sheet that can also be removed or changed with the colour that better match your environment. The rare original black switcher well represents the realisation period (50s) of the lamp. The lamp comes in really good conditions, never mind its age. It fits a regular E27 light bulb. A refined and organic lamp ready to warmly bright up your special home
