Description: This delightful rarely seen chest of drawers was designed by John Herbert for British cabinet maker Younger in the mid-twentieth century. Younger Furniture has been noted for many years for its sound construction and excellent design. The ‘Fonseca’ sideboard is constructed from teak and afrormosia wood the sideboard is not only well designed but has been manufactured to a high standard. The desirable piece provides ample storage space with its multiple drawers. Both are beautifully designed and superbly manufactured with its rich grain, warm tones, rosewood handles, and beautiful solid tapered legs. Both stylish and functional this beautiful piece would make a wonderful addition to any home. Item SKU: Condition: We have carefully stripped this sideboard and refinished it with a coat of matt lacquer for a durable and lasting finish. We try to capture the condition of our items in our photographs as best as possible.
