Vintage Berber wool carpet, Morocco 1960

Wonderful Berber carpet with long bangs from the 1960s. Wonderful orange velvet with patterns in red, yellow, brown, green and blue.Features:- Berber carpet- Hand knotted- about 40,000 knots per m2- 50-60 years old- 100 virgin wool- Made in MoroccoGood condition with slight signs of use.All of our carpets are cleaned in a professional laundry. The first step of the cleaning process is to carefully pat the carpet to remove any dust and dust mites. The subsequent pre-wash with a pH-neutral soap will remove stains. For the main wash, the carpets are carefully hand washed - a special soap protects the fibers and preserves the natural wool grease of the carpet. The first dehydration takes place by means of mechanical pressing and spinning, so that the carpets are then dried in a constant air circulation.
