About this vintage design furniture
Floor lamp - Aldo Nason Murano glass and stainless steel Mazzega edition Circa 1970 Width : 44 cm Height : 165 cm Depth : 23 cm Aldo Nason worked at A.VE.M. between 1937 and 1967; the Venetian company was founded by his father Emilio in 1932. A distinctive feature of his work was his use of large cell-like murrines floating freely in the colored glass of his vessels. While his shimmering Yokohama series glass pieces with metallic inclusions and pigments remain very popular, he was also drawn to bold organic forms.
